Career on hold as actress lets baby take center stage
Wang Bit-na gave birth to her first child Tuesday morning.
The popular TV star, best known for her appearances in SBS-TV’s “Dear Heaven,” and KBS-TV’s “Hwangjini,” tied the knot with professional golfer Jung Seung-woo two years ago.
Wang delivered a healthy baby boy weighing 3.5 kilograms (7.7 pounds).
Although the baby was born two or three days later than expected, both Wang and the newborn are said to be in good shape.
But fans will be disappointed to hear that the actress will not be appearing on screen for quite some time to come. The 28-year-old is not planning to return to acting in the near future, according to her management company Pan Entertainment.
