Hwang Woo-suk, once credited with cloning human embryonic stem cells, appears yesterday at the last hearing for the initial trial, which began on June 20, 2006, at the Seoul Central District Court. Prosecutors yesterday demanded four years in jail for the disgraced scientist charged with faking the results of stem cell cloning experiments. [NEWSIS]
