Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl), a TV show producer in Sacramento, California, is watching a segment of a local television show called “The Ugly Truth,” hosted by Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler). Abby becomes annoyed with Mike’s cynicism about relationships and immediately calls into the show, where she begins arguing with him on the air. The next day, Abby goes to work only to find out her own show has actually hired Mike for a segment to help boost its sagging ratings. The two don’t get along well at first. But when Abby meets her next-door neighbor Colin (Eric Winter), she can’t help but ask Mike for some advice. The two agree that if Mike’s ideas and advice are helpful, Abby will work with him on the show. But if his advice backfires, Mike will have to step aside.

The phone, it so happens, fell through a worm hole and went back in time, landing in the hands of Tokijiro (Kazuma Sano), a young man living in 1912 in the Meiji Period.
Miho tries calling her phone but gets no answer, until she discovers that the rising of the moon activates the signal.

In the post-apocalyptic world where “9” takes place, the only things moving are small, mechanical rag dolls and the robotic beasts that pursue them. One of these rag dolls, identified only with a number nine on his back, awakens in a laboratory, not really sure who he is or what’s going on. But it’s not long before No. 9 (Elijah Wood), as he’s called, finds others just like him, hiding out in an old church where they are safe from the destructive forces around them. They are led by No. 1 (Christopher Plummer), who is strict and fearful of the outside. When one of their numbers is kidnapped, No. 9 wants to strike out on a rescue mission, to which No. 1 fiercely objects. No. 9 disobeys, only to accidentally awaken a terrible, mechanical monster.
My Sister’s Keeper (12)

Eleven-year-old Anna Fitzgerald (Abigail Breslin) was born to be a genetic match to her older sister, Kate (Sofia Vassilieva), who was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 2. Anna knows that she came into the world for Kate, but she also knows that donating her organs for her sister means she won’t be able to play soccer or be a cheerleader.
So when Kate goes into renal failure and Anna has to donate one of her kidneys, she sues her parents, Brian and Sara Fitzgerald (Jason Patric and Cameron Diaz), for medical emancipation and the rights to her own body. With the help of Attorney Campbell Alexander (Alec Baldwin) as her guardian, Anna tries to find a true life for herself.

Two musicians in Cuba, Ruy and Tito (Alberto Yoel and Roberto Sanmartin), get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to storm onto the international scene through a deal with a Spanish record company. Ruy considers this a betrayal of his country and his art, whereas Tito recognizes the financial necessity of it. At the same time, Ruy is dealing with the fact that his children and their mother are leaving for the United States.
