Park gets extension to 2013 at AS Monaco

AS Monaco of Ligue 1 has reached a contract extension with forward Park Chu-young which would see the Korean national team member stay with the club through the summer of 2013.
Park had two years remaining on the contract he inked after transferring from FC Seoul to AS Monaco in August of last year.
Park scored five goals in 31 games in his first season with AS Monaco.
The 24-year-old forward is off to a solid start in his sophomore season as he has posted two goals and two assists in eight games so far.
