[Talk of the town] Gamblerz hit the jackpot
The Korean B-boy group Gamblerz Crew won it all at the 2009 Battle of the Year in Germany. The event, commonly referred to as BOTY, is an annual international break-dancing competition where B-boys the world over come to show off their best moves.
Along with group leader Park Ji-hoon, the eight other members of Gamblerz Crew represented Korea in the tournament on Oct. 17, proudly winning the championship ahead of the renowned Russian group Top 9. This marks the group’s second championship. They also took top honors at the 2004 BOTY.
