Some 677,000 college applicants took the annual College Scholastic Aptitude Test yesterday. Among them, 717 students confirmed as having the A(H1N1) virus and 1,990 suspected cases took the test in separate rooms at test venues and hospitals. For the first time in four years, the portion of no-shows rose, from 4.95 percent to 5.8 percent. Many of the examinees’ mothers prayed all day while high school freshmen and juniors cheered on their seniors before the test began early in the morning. [YONHAP]
