The Killers cancel Seoul concert
American rock band the Killers have canceled their upcoming concert in Seoul, slated for early next month.According to a statement issued by local concert organizer Nine Factory, the group canceled the Asian leg of their tour - which included stops in Seoul, Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila and Tokyo - after learning that a close family member of a band member was seriously ill.
Meanwhile, Donice, Nine Factory’s PR agency, said that ticket holders do not need to apply for a refund. Instead, they will receive a call from online ticketing site Interpark.com.
The concert was to have taken place on Feb. 6 at Olympic Park in southern Seoul.
