Fund investing is still new to most Koreans, and, to reassure its customers, Shinhan Investment Corp. has introduced an array of services to help you protect your money.

The “Fund Safe System” consists of three guarantees. First, the Fund Zero Dissatisfaction Service allows customers to recall an investment in any fund except MMFs, stock exchange listed funds and the China A Securities Fund, within 15 working days after purchase. Recalls are available when an investment fails to match your preferences, if there was any error in the information given to you and in some other circumstances.

Second, the “Alarm for Profit Rate and Redemption” provides a text message when your fund reaches a certain profit or loss rate, helping you keep up with your redemption dates.

Finally, the Investment Information and Fund 119 service sends reports to clients on market and fund trends once a week by e-mail, and provides counseling from a fund expert by phone (1600-0119) or offline.
