Employees from local firms planted trees yesterday as the cold weather subsided. Above, Noh Byeong-yong, CEO of Lotte Mart, second from right in foreground, plants a tree at Seoul Forest.


Two employees from Yuhan-Kimberly - the largest maker of diapers in Korea - ventured out with their peers to plant trees in Gyeonggi, even though Arbor Day is still more than a week out.


Some employees even went abroad, such as a few from Asiana Airlines, pictured above, who planted tress with employees of Japanese airline All Nippon Airways at a park near Yonago Airport in Japan. Provided by the companies
