No surprises: Kim Yu-na is No. 1 in the world
Kim Yu-na remained the world’s top figure skater in an official ranking released yesterday. Kim received a total of 4,024 votes to keep her world No. 1 ranking.2010 Vancouver Games bronze medalist Joannie Rochette of Canada received 3,341 votes to move up to No. 2 in the world while Mao Asada of Japan received 3,275 votes for third place.
The ranking takes into consideration scores from ISU Grand Prix events, international events as well as the Olympics.
