ⓐ sending → forwarding 다른 사람이 올린 문서를 또 다른 사람들에게 전달할 때, forward라는 단어를 씀.
ⓑ of their → via via는 ‘어떤 매체를 통해서’ 라는 의미로 쓰임. 예를 들면, ‘이메일을 통해 연락을 취하다’는 ‘contact via e-mail’라고 할 수 있음. via는 ‘~을 경유하여’라는 의미도 있음.
ⓒ 없음 → the 공식적인 문서나 상황에서 특정한 동물의 종이나 제품을 나타낼 때에는 정관사 the를 씀.
ⓓ wish → hope wish는 어떤 상황을 가정하여 일어나지 않을 일을 소원하는 것이지만, hope는 현실적으로 어떤 결과를 기대하고 희망을 걸 때 씀.
140자 이내의 짧은 글로 불특정 다수의 사람들과 의사를 교환하는 트위터 서비스는 지난 2006년 3월, 발명자인 잭 도시(Dorsey)가 첫 번째 메시지를 날리며 시작됐다. 시작은 미미했지만 1년 뒤 전체 글 수는 200만 개로 늘어났고, 2010년의 글 수는 160억 개로 예측된다.

ⓑ users → a user 복수형도 문법적으로는 가능하지만 한 명의 twitter 사용자가 다른 불특정 다수들과 교류할 수 있음을 설명하는 문장.
ⓒ 없음 → the service 문장에 주어가 없음. Twitter는 사람들이 교류할 수 있는 인터넷 서비스 이므로 주어로 ‘the service’를 넣음.
ⓓ meager → modest meager와 modest는 의미 자체는 비슷하나, meager는 ‘빈약한, 불충분한’ 이란 뜻이며, modest는 ‘수수한, 간소한’ 이란 뜻. 처음에는 서비스가 활성화되지 않았으나 곧 나아졌다는 긍정적인 문장이므로, meager와 같은 부정적인 단어보다는 modest와 같은 긍정적인 단어를 쓰는 것이 좋음.
