Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, a prestigious German university, opened the doors to its Busan branch and Research Center for Bio-Chemical Engineering in the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone yesterday. Busan Deputy Mayor Jeong Nak-gyeoung and FAU Chairman A.H. Schock attended the ceremony along with 300 guests. FAU Busan said it would offer masters programs in eight fields, including chemical engineering and bioengineering, this September, and will recruit 50 students as freshmen.
