Pak reaches 22nd in women’s golf rankings

Pak Se-ri climbed 26 spots to 22nd overall in the latest Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, released yesterday. Pak won the Bell Micro LPGA Classic in Mobile, Alabama, on Monday with a birdie on the third playoff hole to beat Brittany Lincicome. It was Pak’s first win since the Owens Corning Classic in 2007.

Shin Ji-yai maintained her place at the top for the third consecutive week while Ai Miyazato of Japan and Michelle Wie stayed at second and eighth, respectively.

The latest rankings include eight Korean golfers in the top 25.
