KSU enters Yu-na, two other skaters for next Grand Prix

With Kim Yu-na still undecided about her future, the Korea Skating Union submitted her name along with Kwak Min-jung and Kim Chae-hwa for the International Skating Union’s Grand Prix events next season.

According to KSU officials, the deadline to submit entries for the Grand Prix events was May 14.

Because Kim was still undecided on retirement, they decided to enter her in case she decides to participate.

Kim is set to return to her training ground in Toronto, Canada, at the end of this month. She will discuss her future and her new routine with coach Brian Orser and choreographer David Wilson, then make her decision.

“Even if Kim makes a decision, she might not make an announcement any time soon,” said a person in Kim’s circle.

“Grand Prix season kicks off in October, so she can start training in her new routine before making a final decision,” the source added.
