G-20 ambassadors’ conference
The Pre-G20 Ambassadors’ Conference, hosted by Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and sponsored by JoongAng Ilbo, the Presidential Committee for the G-20 Summit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the National Assembly’s Unification, Foreign Affairs and Trade Committee, takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Lilac Hall in the Westin Chosun Hotel on May 26.Ambassadors to Seoul will share their views on the theme, “Enhancing Globalism Tomorrow Through International Collaboration Today,” and suggest how Korea can foster international cooperation as the host of the G-20 Summit in November.
Sakong Il, chairman of the Presidential Committee for the G-20 Summit, will give a keynote speech and Park Jin, the head of the National Assembly’s Unification, Foreign Affairs and Trade Committee, and HUFS President Park Chul will address the envoys.
