Members of a civic organization and surviving Korean “comfort women,” who were forced into sexual slavery during Japanese colonial rule, left for Japan yesterday to call for a resolution to the wrongs they suffered. Last year, the country offered the women 99 yen ($1.09) as compensation. [YONHAP]
