An oil painting by celebrated Korean artist Lee Joong-seop, “Bull,” goes up for auction at Seoul Auction in Pyeongchang-dong, southern Seoul, yesterday. The painting, last exhibited in 1972 at Gallery Hyundai, was sold for 3.56 billion won ($2.9 million) - the second highest price in Korean auction history, following Park Soo-keun’s “Washing Place,” sold by Seoul Auction in 2007 for 4.52 billion won.
