World Youth Baseball tourney to be held in Seoul in 2012
The Korea Baseball Association announced yesterday that the IBAF-sponsored 2012 World Youth Baseball Championship will be held in Seoul.The international baseball tournament features players under 18 and is held bi-annually. Over 600 baseball players representing 20 countries will compete in the tournament from late August to early September 2012.
This is the first time the event will be held in Korea. The 2010 tournament is being held in Thunder Bay, Canada.
