Park Chu-young scores first goal
Park Chu-young of AS Monaco managed to score his first goal of the season against Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1 action yesterday.With the game tied at one goal apiece, Park connected on a left-footed shot at the end of a counterattack to put his team ahead 2-1 at the 79th minute.
The lead did not last long as Adriano of AS Monaco deflected Mathieu Valbuena’s shot into his own net in the 81st minute.
AS Monaco currently sits in ninth place in the 20-team league standings with the record of one win, four draws and no losses while Marseille improved to one win two draws and two losses, good for 13th place.
