똥돼지 신드롬
‘제주 토종 돼지’라고 하면 보통 털이 길고 겉이 까만 흑돼지를 떠올린다. 제주의 옛 초가집 화장실에 살면서 인분(人糞)과 음식찌꺼기를 먹던 일명 ‘똥돼지’를 말한다. 체구가 작고 생산성이 떨어진 똥돼지는 1970년 이후 축산농가의 사육 기피와 새마을운동으로 수세식 화장실이 들어서는 바람에 자취를 감췄다. 토종 똥돼지는 제주축산진흥원이 토종 혈통 보전을 위해 키우는 200여 마리가 고작이다. 요즘의 ‘제주 흑돼지’는 흑돼지 교잡종에서 나온 걸로 보면 된다.내가 한 영작

‘빽’ ‘줄’ ‘끗발’ 없는 보통사람들은 지금 상대적 박탈감과 함께 사회 부조리에 대해 분노를 느끼고 있다. 구석구석에서 숨어있는 채용 비리를 들춰내고 싶어 한다. 이 기회에 공정한 사회에 한발 다가갈 필요도 있다. 하지만 똥돼지 고발이 무차별적 ‘마녀사냥’으로 치닫는 건 경계해야 한다. 특채자라고 모두 편법이나 부정한 방법으로 채용된 건 아닐 터다. 능력이 검증된 사람마저 특채라는 이유로 인민재판을 당하는 일은 피해야 한다. 사라진 똥돼지에게 오명을 씌우는 현실이 씁쓸하다.

It might be a great opportunity to take a step closer to a fare society. However, we need to be cautious not to turn the poop pig investigation into a witch hunt. Someone with ⓒa verified competency should not be criticized just because ⓓhe is hired ⓔnot through a regular recruitment.
