On Monday Oct. 18, we mark the 10th anniversary of the founding of the JoongAng Daily in partnership with the International Herald Tribune, the global edition of The New York Times.On the occasion, the newspaper is relaunching itself as the Korea JoongAng Daily, a signal of our goal to be the most authoritative and trustworthy English-language newspaper in the nation.
At the same time, we are taking the opportunity to freshen our pages with a new, contemporary design, expand the space we dedicate to national news and tweak the order of the paper’s sections to give the reader a smoother and more coherent news experience.
Corporate and residential subscribers will also notice a change in how the partner papers are configured. Starting Monday, the Korea JoongAng Daily will be the outside section instead of being distributed within the International Herald Tribune, allowing readers to get their Korean news first. We look forward to introducing you to the new Korea JoongAng Daily on Monday.
