AMCHAM- GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Wednesday: The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea is holding a General Membership Meeting (GMM) by inviting Thomas Donohue, President and CEO of U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Meeting will be at the Grand Hyatt Seoul, Grand Ballroom (1st fl.) on Wednesday, Nov.10, 2010 from 7:30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. 45,000 won for members and 55,000 won for non-members which includes breakfast.

KFCC- OPEN LECTURES ON KOREAN CULTURE

Tuesday: Korea Foundation Cultural Center is having open lectures about Korean cultures under the theme of Fine Arts, Architecture and Music of Korea. Every Tuesday until Nov.23, the program will conduct a tripartite series of lectures on traditional Korean Music.

The venue is Korea Foundation Cultural Center and time is set at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. Free of charge for foreign residents only, but registration should be made by sending email to hykim@kf.or.kr. To get KFCC, get off at the City Hall station, Exit No.9. ASIA SOCIETY- TASK FORCE REPORT LAUNCH

Tuesday: The Asia Society Korea is inviting you to a special launch event of the Global Asia Society’s latest Task Force report, “Coming Together Beats Falling Apart: Making Asian Economic Integration Work for Asia, the United States and the World.” Members include Bill Rhodes, former Citi Vice Chairman, former Japanese Vice-Minister of Finance for International Affairs Toyoo Gyohten and former Korean Prime Minister Han Seung Soo.
