Seoul rolls out red carpet for world leaders

Gyeongbok Palace’s Gyeonghoeru Pavilion (National Treasure No. 224), the largest elevated pavilion in Korea, is lit up for the first time in its 615-year history on Tuesday. The Cultural Heritage of Administration of Korea has temporarily opened Gyeongbok Palace at night to promote Korea’s traditional beauty to the world. [YONHAP]
