[Sponsored Report] Cambridge English gets recognition boost

More than 2,500 organizations now recognise Cambridge English: Advanced, a high-level language qualification that has specifically been designed to test English skills needed for demanding professional and academic situations.

“Cambridge English Advanced is a high-level qualification and this massive boost in acceptance shows how seriously organizations around the world are taking English language ability,” said Cambridge ESOL’s Nicola Johnson.

The exam is set at Level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This is the recommended level for managerial or professional positions, or for academic study at university level.

“Cambridge English Advanced assesses real-life communications skills that individuals need to confidently deal with complicated academic and professional tasks in English,” Johnson said. “People who pass this test will be able to show employers and universities exactly what they can do in terms of English ability.”

The exam is also known as the Certificate in Advanced English.
