The Geoga Bridge, which connects Gadeok Island in Busan and Geoje Island in South Gyeongsang, opens at 6 a.m. today. Costing about 2.3 trillion won ($2 billion), the 8.2-kilometer-long (5-mile-long) bridge includes a trip through a 3.7-kilometer undersea tunnel at a depth of 48 meters (156 feet), setting a world record for undersea tunnel depth.
