Speaking up
Contestants in the second “ESU-Korea Public Speaking Competition” organized by the JoongAng Ilbo, the Korea JoongAng Daily and Ewha Womans University and sponsored by HSBC, pose yesterday at Ewha. Winners in the three age groups are Chang Soon-hyun, seventh from left in the second row, a 6th grader at Seongnam Jeongja Elementary School; Lee Kwon-hee, sixth from left in the second row, an eighth grader at Gyeonggi-Suwon International School; Kang Jeon-wook, second from left in the third row, a sophomore at Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies. Kang will participate in an ESU International Competition to be held in May in the U.K. Provided by JoongAng Ilbo Education Corp.
