Cleaning up its act
Workers of the Korea Expressway Corporation remove containers and other illegally stored objects from beneath the Seoul Ring Expressway yesterday. On Dec. 13, a fire from an oil tanker parked illegally under the elevated highway destroyed a section of the road, creating serious traffic problems for the capital region. The corporation said areas underneath the 120-kilometer-long (75-mile-long) highway will be cleared out by March. [YONHAP]
