Restoration work on Sungnyemun, also known as Namdaemun, was opened to the public yesterday. Sungnyemun, Korea’s No. 1 national treasure, was burned down by an arsonist on Feb. 10, 2008. Experts from the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage are restoring it. [NEWSIS]
