[NEW RELEASES] Yoon Sang-hyeon

Over the years, Hallyu stars have released albums to enhance their popularity both in and outside of Korea.

The most prominent example of this is Ryu Shi-won, who launched a successful singing career after winning fans over through appearances on numerous dramas.

Yoon Sang-hyeon seems to be walking a similar path. With roles on popular dramas such as MBC’s “Queen of Housewives” and SBS’s “Secret Garden,” Yoon has become popular here and abroad.

As a whole, the album feels familiar, like songs you have heard somewhere before, maybe from the soundtracks of numerous Japanese dramas mixed together into one.

Apart from the rather bland collection of songs, Yoon proves he is not half bad as a singer. But it’s obvious why he pursued a career in acting rather than singing.

One song is interesting, though. “Find a Paradise,” has a soft guitar line that accompanies Yoon’s voice quite well.

윤상현 日 정규1집 앨범 발매 ‘오스카 현실로’

배우 윤상현이 16일 정규 1집 앨범 'Precious Days'를 발매한다.

윤상현의 이번 정규 1집 앨범에는 음반과 함께 스페셜 포토북을 수록해 지금까지 공개하지 않았던 윤상현만의 섹시함이 묻어나는 사진들이 공개된다.

윤상현은 앨범 발매에 맞춰 2월 19일 오사카, 20~21일 도쿄에서 쇼케이스와 하이터치, 악수회를 진행한다. 이어 25일 도쿄, 27일 오사카에서 음반 발매를 기념한 미니 라이브 및 팬미팅을 열어 앨범 수록곡을 선보인다. 팬들과 진솔한 대화를 나눌 예정이다.

뿐만 아니라 윤상현은 지난 1월 발매한 아티스트북 '소문래복(笑門來福)' 구입자 중 추첨을 통해 100명을 선정해 2월 21일 Sony Noizaka에서 사인회를 진행한다.

한편 윤상현은 지난해 일본에서 싱글앨범 사이고노 아메를 발매해 데뷔 첫 날 오리콘차트 11위를 차지하는 등 두 번의 싱글 앨범 발표한 바 있다.
