Hong Jeong-do, chief operating officer of the JoongAng Media Network (JMnet) has been appointed as the representative of Korea on the board of directors of Publish Asia, an annual conference organized by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers for publishing houses around the world.

At this year’s two-day conference, which started yesterday in Bangkok, attention was on JMnet’s successful foray into the broadcasting business under the name jTBC.
