FC Seoul, which won a spot in the AFC Champions League quarterfinals on Wednesday, goes to Seongnam to continue its successful run under interim coach Choi Yong-soo. The team won six matches and has one draw and one loss since Choi took over last month.
Seongnam, meanwhile, hasn’t won since April 3, but has bested Seoul historically, with 37 wins, 37 draws and 27 losses. Seongnam, the most successful club in K-League history, with seven championship titles, has lost many key players due to injury and will be looking to striker Cho Dong-kun to lead their attack.
