Harvesting dropwort to help out the needy
Workers from the Hangang Park office harvest water dropwort from a farm built on top of the Han River at the northern section of Wonhyo Bridge. The office, which is under the Seoul Metropolitan Government, began growing water dropwort on the Han River in 2003 because the plants help purify the water. The office has donated the dropwort it has harvested to the needy because the plant is a popular vegetable in Korea. [YONHAP]
