[Letters] Is democracy taking its last breath in India?
India was a great nation with a great civilization, but corrupted politicians have turned it into hell. India has a long history of struggling with the British and Mughals, and a rich democratic past rooted in the sacrifices of our leaders like Mohandas Gandhi, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Dr. Zakir Hussain.But no citizen ever thought that after independence, people were supposed to become slaves of their own political party like the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Is democracy taking its last breath in India? The INC is becoming a dictatorship, which is not going to be good for this country in the midst of vast development.
