완전 범죄
범죄 행위에 나서는 사람치고 자신이 붙잡힐 거라고 믿는 사람은 거의 없다. 하나같이 완전 범죄를 꿈꾼다는 얘기다. 이러니 인간 사회에서 범죄 행위가 없어질 리 없다. 완전 범죄의 전제는 증거인멸이다. 실제 범인이라도 유죄를 입증할 증거가 없는 한 결백을 주장할 수 있다.내가 한 영작

대학 교수가 ‘시신 없는 살인’이라는 완전 범죄를 노리고 아내를 살해·유기한 사건의 충격이 크다. 주도면밀하게 증거 인멸을 시도했지만 강에 버린 아내의 시신이 발견돼 허사가 됐다. 한을 품고 죽었을 아내가 시신으로 돌아와 결정적 증거가 된 셈이다. 완전 범죄의 헛된 꿈에 사로잡힌 인간의 어리석음이 씁쓸할 따름이다.
