2011.7.1 Weekend Picks: K-League
* Gyeongnam FC (6-2-7) at Ulsan Hyundai FC (6-2-7)* Munsu Football Stadium, Ulsan
* Sunday, 7 p.m.
These two South Gyeongsang teams will square off to try to make a climb out of the cellar of the K-League table.
Both teams have the same record, but Ulsan sits in 11th, one spot ahead of Gyeongnam on goal difference.
Yoon Bitgaram, who plays an important role on the Korean Olympic football team, leads Gyeongnam’s midfield. The team also has the league’s most experienced active goalkeeper in 41-year-old Kim Byung-ji, who has played 551 games.
But Ulsan has plenty of former and current national team members on its squad. Striker Kim Shin-wook leads Ulsan’s attack and is supported by winger Seol Ki-hyeon and attacking midfielder Ko Chang-hyun.
Ulsan leads the two teams’ all-time record, with seven wins, four draws and five losses.
