It is undisputable that benefits from free trade agreements are immense./ 자유무역협정으로 인한 혜택이 엄청나다는 것은 논쟁의 여지가 없다/ During the seven years of the Korea-Chile free trade agreement,/ 한-칠레 자유무역협정을 맺은지 7년 동안/ bilateral trade has surged by 287 percent./ 양국 간의 무역이 287퍼센트 급성장했다/ In Chile, Korean motor vehicles and electronics now outperform their Japanese competitors./ 칠레에서 한국산 자동차와 전자제품은 이제 경쟁자인 일본 제품을 능가하고 있다/
And less than a month after the free trade agreement with the world’s largest economic bloc,/ 세계에서 가장 큰 경제권과의 자유무역협정이 발효된지 한 달도 채 안되어/ we are seeing real improvements in consumer prices at home and in bilateral trade./ 우리는 국내에서의 소비자 물가와 양국 간의 교역에 실제적인 향상을 보고 있다/ Come August,/ 8월이 다가오고 있는 시점에/ there is no reason for our politicians to dilly-dally over ratifying the FTA with the United States/ 정치인들이 미국과의 FTA 비준을 미룰 이유가 없다/ in light of the positive outcomes from the FTA with Europe./ 유럽과의 FTA로 인한 긍정적인 결과를 고려한다면/
FTAs are an economic and trade issue that should be addressed from an economic perspective./ FTA는 경제적인 관점에서 해결해야 할 경제적이고 무역문제이다/ It should not be wasted and watered down by partisan politics./ 당의 정책에 따라 시간을 낭비해서도 흐지부지해서도 안 된다/
