The Twins have been busy recently making transactions to improve the team for a postseason run.
The team strengthened its pitching staff with closer Song Shin-young and starter Kim Sung-hyun in a two-for-two trade with the Nexen Heroes just three hours before the trade deadline Sunday. The Twins also signed veteran pitcher Lee Dae-jin who was released on waivers from the Kia Tigers on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Eagles’s pitching staff is still in doubt with lefty ace Ryu Hyun-jin recovering from a shoulder injury. He was expected to pitch Friday against the Twins, but was excluded from the team’s most recent roster.
