[LETTERS]Free school lunches are a waste of tax money

The free school lunch program has both positive aspects and negative aspects, like a double-edged sword. Although the government tries to use this policy as a contribution to the welfare of citizens, the policy has many problems such as taxes, budgets and political debates.

In my opinion, free meals must be recognized as populism. Despite the fact that this policy is useless since it is aimed at attracting voters in future elections, it is under the pretext of deceiving naive people in the name of welfare. Government and politicians would face problems with this free-meals policy and Seoul citizens should stop the enforcement of what would be a waste of tax money in the upcoming vote.
