압구정동
여기서 북쪽을 바라보면 지금은 사라진 저자도(楮子島)가 한 폭의 그림 같았다 한다. 닥나무가 많다 하여 이런 이름을 얻은 모래섬이었다. 그 뒤로 북한산 봉우리들이 한눈에 들어와 중국 사신을 접대하는 장소로도 쓰였다. 광복 전까지는 한강변 여러 농촌마을 중 하나였다. 배꽃이 가득한 과수원이나 채소밭, 아니면 그냥 모래밭이었다. 6·25전쟁 후 피란민들이 정착하면서 상업이 발달하기 시작했다. 세조 때 모사(謀士) 한명회(韓明澮)가 여기에 자신의 호를 딴 압구정(狎鷗亭)이란 정자를 지어놓고 즐겼다. 지명의 유래다. 1963년에야 서울시로 편입됐다. 그전까지는 경기도였다.내가 한 영작
