Josh Duhamel visits flooded U.S. hometown
Duhamel mingled with family and community on Saturday at the State Fairgrounds in Minot and later spoke during a benefit concert featuring The Black Eyed Peas.
Minot is recovering from record Souris River flooding this summer that temporarily forced about 11,000 people from their homes and damaged about 4,100 houses and hundreds of businesses.
Organizers say more than 12,000 concert tickets were sold for $100 each.
Duhamel says money from the “Minot Rising” show and a recovery fund will help buy materials for people rebuilding their homes.
