Maybe, the guardian spirit of ⓐthe mountain ⓑmay have gotten upset for being severed on the waist. The underground tunnel built to connect Gwacheon and Seocho-dong may have irritated the guardian spirit of the earth. Perhaps, the Nature and Ecological Park that opened in July, 2004 may be ⓒthe root of the disaster. The park was created as a place to learn about the nature and promote the importance of ecosystem. But it is ironic that a park was artificially created by changing the face of the mountain, which ⓓis the nature itself. Mount Umyeon was also designated as the toad preservation. It reminds of the Indian Preservations in the United States, ⓔwhich was a pretentious gesture that followed cruel treatment on the Native Americans.
