Sixth-place Busan hosts ninth-place Gyeongnam in a bid to secure the last slot for the six-team playoff. But Busan is only two points above Ulsan Hyundai, meaning that a loss could see them fail to advance. Led by Han Sang-wun, Busan is considered to have the better offense and has scored 10 goals more than Gyeongnam.
And while Gyeonngam has national and Olympic team playmaker Yoon Bitgaram, who scored a wonderful free kick against Oman last week, it hasn’t collected a win in its last six matches, recording two draws and four losses.
But Gyeongnam has the better head-to-head record with 10 wins, one draw and six losses, and emerged the victor three months ago when the teams played a thrilling encounter that ended 3-2.
