Beyonce accused of stealing choreographer’s dance moves
“We discovered the Beyonce clip on Friday and we noticed more than a few resemblances to the film that director Thierry De Mey made in 1997, ‘Rosas Dance Rosas,’ ... and 1994’s ‘Achterland,’” Rosas spokeswoman Johanne De Bie told AFP.
“We have passed the details to our lawyer to see about our rights.”
The decor, a warehouse dance studio, plus the clothing and the dance moves in the video bear a striking resemblance to the filmed choreography “Rosas Dance Rosas,” as a comparative clip on YouTube entitled “Beyonce vs. Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker” clearly shows.
“I was never contacted, this is pure plagiarism,” the latter told Flemish radio.

벨기에 현대무용가 "비욘세, 내 춤 베꼈다…절도"
미국의 팝스타 비욘세(30)가 안무를 표절했다는 의혹에 휘말렸다.
11일 미국 워싱턴포스트 신문 등 해외 미디어에 따르면, 벨기에 안무가 안느 테레사 드 케이르스마커(51)는 비욘세가 정규 4집 `4` 수록곡인 `카운트다운`의 뮤직비디오에서 선보인 춤의 일부가 자신의 동작을 표절했다고 주장했다.
케이르스마커가 이끄는 무용단 `로사스`의 `로사스 댄스 로사스` 등의 안무와 흡사한 점을 발견했다는 것이다.
"표절했다. 이것은 절도"라고 못박았다.
비욘세 측은 아직까지 별다른 반응을 보이지 않고 있다.
케이르스마커는 벨기에를 현대무용 중심지로 급부상시킨 주인공이다. 반복과 견고함을 특징으로 하는 `무용 미니멀리즘`으로 현대 무용사에 한 획을 그었다. 2005년 로사스를 이끌고 내한 공연을 하기도 했다.
한편, 2008년 힙합가수 제이Z(42)와 결혼한 비욘세는 내년 2월 출산 예정이다.
