테스트

On June 30, 150 representatives of Asiana’s subcontractors were invited for the “2011 subcontractor co-development discussion.”

Asiana Airlines is one of a group of companies that is practicing co-development management. Asiana Airlines is aiming to “create the number one company value within the industry” and raise client service quality through fluent communication with subcontractors under the motto “A beautiful future with the subcontractor.” Also by establishing an effective system with subcontractors and reducing purchasing costs, Asiana Airlines is forming an atmosphere where subcontractors can achieve stable growth.

Asiana Airlines has set up seven strategies for their management practice: establishing strategic purchasing policies for all purchase or outsourcing purchases, promoting combined purchasing, strengthening global sourcing, systematic management of subcontractors, an outstanding subcontractor system, applying the co-development program according to the needs of subcontractors and raising purchasing experts.

Asiana Airlines has differentiated its subcontractors as vendors, outsourcing companies and agencies. Through vendor management the company has set up a method to effectively evaluate and manage the vendors as well as strengthen their abilities. To the outsourcing companies, it is providing educational support to raise the standard of their human resources departments.

With the agencies, the companies are jointly developing tour packages as well as providing educational support and incentives to encourage them.

Since 2002, to encourage the subcontractors and to fulfill the co-development management, Asiana Airlines has been conducting overseas “Fam Tours” for outstanding employees and managers from subcontractors.

Since 2008 Asiana Airlines has opened co-development management discussion with subcontractors to deliver appreciation and establish a solid partnership based on trust.
