Kim Jang-hoon back on his feet
Kim, 43, suffered a panic attack last Monday, stating that he couldn’t breathe properly. The singer then cancelled all of his scheduled events and went to a hospital in Ichon-dong, central Seoul, for treatment.
However, on Saturday, Kim’s agency announced that although the singer’s condition is not 100 percent, Kim will be released to continue his schedule on Dokdo Day tomorrow.
Kim will introduce his photograph collection of Dokdo at Boda, a visual art center in southern Seoul, tomorrow in part of the Dokdo Festival, which also includes other various shows such as the showing of rare video clips and other art pieces related to Dokdo.
Kim, who has released nine studio albums so far, is widely known as a strong advocate for Korea in the Dokdo and East Sea controversy. The singer previously placed an ad about Dokdo in major American newspapers and on an electronic billboard in Times Square, New York.
Kim also recently contributed to the launch an English edition of the Dokdo Web site (www.truthofdokdo.com).

김장훈, `독도훼스트발` 위해 25일 퇴원..통원치료
가수 김장훈이 독도를 지키기를 위해 퇴원을 확정했다.
24일 오전 김장훈 측에 따르면 오는 25일 시작될 `김장훈의 독도 훼스티발`에 참석하기 위해 이날 오전 퇴원한다. 지난 17일 공황장애 재발로 입원한지 일주일여 만이다.
현재 김장훈은 입원 당시 보다는 몸 상태가 무척 좋아졌지만, 완쾌된 것은 아니다. 하지만 그 간 독도 지키기에 지대한 관심을 보여 온 그이기에, 독도 훼스트발이 시작되는 25일 퇴원해 이날 행사에 참석키로 마음을 굳혔다.
김장훈은 퇴원 이후에도 집에서 몸을 돌보며 통원 치료를 받을 예정이다.
한편 이달 25일부터 11월9일까지 서울 강남 보다비주얼아트센터에서 진행될 `김장훈의 독도훼스티발`에서는 김장훈의 독도사진집 발간 및 독도사진전, 독도희귀서적 열람, 독도 영상쇼 등 다채로운 이벤트가 열릴 예정이다.
특히 김장훈이 청소년들의 관심을 고취시키기 위해 만든 3분짜리 독도3D영상쇼에는 로봇태권V도 등장할 예정이어서 더욱 관심을 끌고 있다. 또한 독도 훼스티벌이 열릴 보다비주얼아트센터 정문 앞에는 높이 4미터의 로봇태권V가 설치 될 예정이다. 주식회사 로봇태권V측은 이번 행사를 위해 무료로 모든 권리와 기술을 제공한 것으로 알려졌다.
