The election of Park as a candidate representing a consortium of opposition forces is also a cause for worry./ 박 시장이 범야권 단일 후보로 당선된 것 또한 우려되는 대목이다/ He must forge a coalition government, which is also likely to cause chaos in city governance./ 박 시장은 연합 정부를 꾸려야하는데 그것이 또한 시 정부에 혼란을 야기할 수도 있다/ Furthermore, the Seoul mayor has the privilege of appointing about 20 executive posts as well as the heads and auditors of several organizations./ 게다가 서울 시장은 약 20명의 고위직을 임명할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 몇 몇 기관장과 감사를 임명할 권한을 가지고 있다/ Park must stay away from the temptation of rewarding his campaign staff with appointments./ 박 시장은 당연히 선거를 도왔던 사람들에 대한 보상의 유혹을 뿌리치고 임명해야 한다/ What’s important is their expertise and ability to govern effectively./ 가장 중요한 것은 효과적으로 통치를 할 수 있는 전문성과 능력이다/ Above all, he must remember that the city budget and government positions are not the spoils of war./ 무엇보다 박 시장은 시 예산과 정부 자리가 전리품이 아니라는 사실을 명심해야 한다/
