Kim Seung-youn, Hanwha chairman, left, and Japan’s prime minister, Yoshihiko Noda, met on Monday in Tokyo, where the two agreed to start a forum that would help young talents exchange ideas and contribute to boosting ties between the two countries.

Meanwhile Hanwha Group is planning on entering the solar energy business in Japan. The Korean conglomerate in recent years has been stepping up its environment friendly energy businesses.

Kim, before meeting with the Japanese prime minister, visited Marubeni’s Teruo Asada where the two agreed on cooperating over solar energy businesses.
