Ssangyong in Singapore
Ssangyong Engineering & Construction said Monday it has clinched a $231 million deal to build a residential and shopping complex in Singapore.Under the deal with Brilliance Residential, a Singaporean private real estate development firm, Ssangyong Engineering will build eight buildings with 584 residential condominiums, a shopping center and a bus terminal in southeastern Singapore.
The Korean builder said that it will take 30 months to complete the project. Ssangyong Engineering said it has been working on a couple of projects worth $1.6 billion in Singapore since 2009.
