JTBC presents its programming lineup

테스트

JTBC, the JoongAng Ilbo’s new general-programming TV channel, holds a news conference yesterday at the JoongAng Ilbo building to give a presentation on the cable station’s programs. The J stands for JoongAng Ilbo and TBC for Tongyang Broadcasting Company, which was JoongAng’s TV station and the country’s first private broadcaster.

JTBC will begin broadcasting on Dec. 1. In the presentation, JTBC unveiled teasers for entertainment shows, dramas and sitcoms that feature celebrity hosts and stars. Different from existing TV stations, JTBC will air news programs at 10 p.m. with more in-depth analysis and perspective. Until 10 p.m., JTBC will air dramas and sitcoms. [NEWSIS]
