GS Engineering bags office contract in SingaporeGS Engineering & Construction said yesterday it has clinched a 340 billion won ($302 million) order to build office buildings in western Singapore.
Under the deal with the state-run Jurong Town Corp., GS Engineering will build three towers at a business complex in Jurong. The buildings will house several research institutes and private IT companies and take 38 months to complete, it said.
GS Engineering said the order is the first construction deal it has won in Singapore and will help it tap the Southeast Asian market.
